Hey, I'm Durgesh.

I used to bend metal on paper; now I bend clouds for a living. Mechanical engineer by degree, cloud Solutions Architect by trade, swimmer and wanderer by choice.

Origin story

I'm a 90s kid who trained as a mechanical engineer, which meant years of learning how things bend, heat up and eventually snap. Then I discovered the biggest machine ever built has zero moving parts: the cloud.

Today I'm a Solutions Architect. Translation: people hand me a gloriously messy pile of requirements, and I turn it into something that scales, stays secure and doesn't set the budget on fire.

Old habits die hard, so I still ask "what's going to break first?" on every design. The difference now is I get to fix it before it does.

Tech

If it's new and shiny, I'm already poking at it. The useful experiments grow up into small free tools. This site is basically my trophy shelf.

Travel

My passport has seen a good chunk of the world, mostly Asia: street food I couldn't pronounce, trains I almost missed, and wrong turns that became the best part of the trip.

Swimming

Water is my reset button. Lap by lap the bugs get fixed, the ideas surface, and the puns get worse.
